WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
On Saturday, we will be: 1. Painting 2. Putting up siding 3. Raising walls 4. Roofing and shingling 5. Building trusses. Please let us know if you have any particular experience in any of these areas so that we can assign you to the appropriate crew. Depending on the task, you will work on one of two house sites on Moi Road in Hanapepe Heights, and another crew will work at Kaua`i Habitat’s base yard to do truss work for another home.

WHAT TO BRING?
Please wear work clothes, closed toed shoes (for safety), a hat to protect you from the sun, and sunscreen. We will provide you with necessary tools, gloves, water, coffee, snacks, a Build-a-thon T-shirt, and lunch! If you have any of your own personal tools (such as a tool belt, hammers, utility knife, measuring tape etc.) please feel free to bring them along. Tools for the Build-a-thon have been generously donated by The Home Depot. We would like other volunteers to be able to use them as well, so please remember to turn in all equipment at the end of the day.
